For this class I am studying "How a successful game grows" such as the stages a game goes through from concept right up until release and how it gets the attention of the general public. This will be done via online research and group work. We will be researching how games such as Call of Duty and FIFA go from being one time releases to money grabbers that get new releases every year and even some movie deals.
Recently within the class we where split up into our work groups that consisted of me and 4 other members and we called ourselves "The Fighting Mongooses".

We will talk about and research mainstream popular games such as the Call of Duty franchise, EA Sports franchise and the Assassins Creed franchise and how they gain their popularity and become such big games. There are also games that have spawned movie deals such as Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Doom.
